Hello
Hey there! Fletcher Creek Farm was founded by Melissa our forager, mother, photographer, gardener, and nature enthusiast and Jarell the man who makes it all happen. Our goal is to help people learn how to make use of the natural bounty around us. We've got some awesome programs and workshops that will teach you how to identify the plants growing in our neck of the woods and how to put them to use in a sustainable fashion. So come hang out with us and let's get to learning!
My Story
Hi there! My name is Melissa and I would love to introduce you to my world of foraging and gardening. I started foraging at a young age with my grandmother and fell in love with all things green and growing. Over the years, I've learned about the foods growing for free all around me and have become an avid gardener. I'm also a professional photographer and a mother of three homeschooled feral children. Our farm is home to cats, dogs, chickens, turkeys, and one sweet, spoiled goose. My husband, Jarell, is the handiest man and brings all my dreams and visions for our farm into reality. He is also a talented welder, metal fabricator, carpenter, and heavy machinery operator. Join me on my journey of discovering the beauty of nature and the joys of sustainable living.
